About ME
Lawrence Olson Garden Design was born from a lifetime of gardening passion. I learned the magic of plants from my grandfather, spending countless afternoons in a well‑loved garden, digging spuds, planting borders, and feeding birds. That early love grew into a vocation. My grandfather taught me the importance of harmony between people and their outdoor spaces—lessons that continue to shape my work today.
My Story & Experience
I formalised my passion with my RHS 2 in horticulture at Hillingdon and garden design at the renowned Capel Manor. These qualifications, along with years of hands‑on experience, mean you’re in very capable (if somewhat muddy) hands.
Qualifications & Training
Personalised: Every space is designed with you in mind, shaped with painstaking care to reflect who you are and how you live. I want you to feel that every detail has been thoroughly considered, and that every ounce of care and thought has gone into truly understanding your needs — so you're thrilled with every aspect of your garden.
Sustainable: Using locally sourced materials, native planting and environmentally friendly builds wherever possible, your garden should sit in harmony with your surroundings, and using the best, most sustainable materials helps bring that to life.
Beauty: Combining structure, texture and colour to create spaces that evolve throughout the year, I believe that a garden should be a thing of beauty whatever the season.
